Infarto cardiocerebral simultáneo: un desafío terapéutico con implicancias neurológicas y en cuidados críticos. Reporte de un caso

Resumen
El infarto cardiocerebral simultáneo es una entidad poco frecuente y de alta complejidad, caracterizada por la aparición concomitante de un infarto agudo de miocardio y un accidente cerebrovascular isquémico. Su excepcionalidad radica en el desafío de coordinar terapias coronarias y neurológicas en un mismo episodio agudo. Se presenta el caso de una mujer de 53 años que sufrió un infarto agudo de miocardio con supradesnivel del ST y que, durante el traslado, desarrolló un déficit neurológico focal. Este caso ilustra la necesidad de una evaluación rápida, multidisciplinaria y coordinada entre los Servicios de Neurología, Cardiología y Terapia Intensiva, individualizando la estrategia terapéutica según los recursos disponibles.
