Analgosedación en el paciente crítico en ventilación mecánica: el bundle ABCDEF en la pandemia de COVID-19

Resumen
El abordaje integral del paciente crítico ha evolucionado a pasos agigantados en los últimos 20 años. Desde la “creación” de las unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI) en la década del 50, en plena epidemia de poliomielitis, hasta la década de 2000, en donde comenzó a surgir evidencia de que los sobrevivientes de la enfermedad crítica lo hacían con una alta carga de secuelas, muchas de las cuales eran prevenibles.
