Abstract
El hígado graso agudo del embarazo es una emergencia obstétrica rara y potencialmente fatal, con una prevalencia de 1:7.000 a 1:20.000 embarazos. Se caracteriza por un espectro de signos y síntomas inespecíficos, asociados a infiltración grasa microvascular en los hepatocitos, que provoca insuficiencia hepática materna con complicaciones graves maternas y fetales. Se presenta el caso de una paciente con presentación atípica de la enfermedad.
