Abstract

In view of the emergency situation in which the COVID-19 disease pandemic has placed the world population, COSONUME and CALINU formed a multidisciplinary team to analyze the available scientific evidence, in order to provide recommendations regarding interventions metabolic, nutritional, tending to the necessary conservation and / or recovery of muscle mass and prevention of complications related to prolonged hospitalization and malnutrition in this pathology, placing greater emphasis on the most vulnerable population.
