Main Article Content
Abstract
We report a patient with tetany secondary to metabolic alkalosis developed during the use of a medicinal herb,
Equisetum arvense, as a diuretic. It is a very uncommon condition described in literature, but it should be taken into account in the differential diagnosis of tetany.
